*Exclusions from Free Shipping:
Some brands, such as Noir Furniture, are excluded from Free Shipping, however, we offer a very low, reasonable shipping costs ($12.99) for these brands that we must exclude from the free shipping, due to the brand policies.
Also, if after obtaining a shipping quote, we discover that the shipping cost is greater than 15% of the total sale, we reserve the right to exclude free shipping.
Some examples of extremely high shipping costs, which may be excluded include:
- Over-sized boxes shipping Ground (FedEx or UPS)
- Specific areas deemed "High Cost Delivery Areas" by freight companies, such as some islands and boroughs of metropolitan cities, (such as NYC and LA), we must exclude the Free Shipping to these areas
If this is the case, we will email you with the shipping quote to see if you would like to pay the extra shipping costs or cancel the order. We will offer up to 15% of the total sale toward the shipping costs.
All merchandise ordered must be received and signed for by the Consignee (person placing the order) or a copy of their valid ID must be presented to the delivery person. In the case of freight delivery, the carrier will call you in advance to make an appointment for delivery and you must be available to receive the merchandise or a designated adult (over the age of 18) with the copy of your ID.
Please NOTE: All packages over $500 in value must be shipped "Adult Signature Required". This is a requirement by our carrier, FedEx, for insurance purposes. Please watch your tracking number and make arrangements to have someone available to receive the package on the expected day of delivery. FedEx delivers from 8am - 8pm, and unfortunately, will not give estimated delivery times.
Also, if you are shipping to a business, FedEx will require a signature; will only delivery during hours of operation and will not deliver on a weekend. If you live in a multi-housing unit, FedEx requires a signature and will not leave your package at your door, for security reasons.
FedEx will make three (3) attempts to deliver your package, leaving a note on your door each time. If all three attempts fail, they will take the package to their nearest facility. You may call FedEx at 800.463.3339 to have them hold your package at the nearest FedEx center to you. Please provide them with your tracking number. They will hold your package up to 10 business days.
LTL/FREIGHT (Truck): Our Free Shipping is at our discretion, determined by our cost to ship the merchandise to you. It can be anywhere from Curbside, Threshold or White Glove, depending on your address and our cost to ship.
Please track your package and have a person (or two) available who can help you receive the order.
You may add on the following accessorial surcharges at your expense, to be paid to us at least 48 hours in advance of delivery. Please let us know via email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like any additional services and we will give you an estimate and send you an invoice for these additional fees. Please pay this invoice immediately upon receipt, as the shipment is already en-route to you, in order to assure that the surcharges get added onto the driver's bill of lading.

Please note: We cannot be responsible for the package once it is out of our hands and into the hands of our Delivery Service. We will insure every shipment to the fullest extent and work with the insurance companies of the carrier to either replace or reimburse you for any damage/loss.
Heaven's Gate will not be held responsible for lost, damaged or delayed products caused by shipping carriers.

**When shipping to Alaska or Hawaii there may occasions where the shipping costs are higher than our normal fee based on your exact address. If we run a quote based on your address and the shipping costs are higher than normal, we will notify you by email of the additional costs. You may then decide whether to pay the additional fee or cancel the order. If you decide that you would like to proceed with the order, we will email you an additional invoice for the extra fees. Once the invoice is paid, we will then ship the order.
Occasionally there may be back-ordered items, due to merchandise being on back-order from our supplier. We will keep you updated to the best of our ability as to Estimated Ship Dates.
Packages over $100 in value require a signature for delivery. You may request in writing (in our comments section) that your item be shipped "no signature required", however, this means that you are accepting 100% responsibility for the merchandise once it is delivered to your door.
Expedited Shipping You may request expedited Shipping at your expense. Due to reasons beyond our control, air shipping is very expensive. You can expect to pay $15-$20 for 2-3 day delivery and $25-$30 for Next Day Delivery, for the average 1# package, within the Continental US. If this is what you prefer, we will be happy to accommodate your wishes. Please make a note in the comments section that you wish for expedited shipping and we will send you an invoice. Please pay the invoice immediately, so that we may expedite your package. We ship Mon.-Friday 10am-5pm.
SHIP TO ADDRESS: Please be very careful when entering your 'Ship To' address, as carriers have a fee for address corrections, which unfortunately we will have to pass along to you if it is not entered correctly. We will contact you by e-mail if this is the case and ask you to kindly reimburse us for the correction. Thank you for understanding.

Heaven's Gate Home & Garden has partnered with a trusted third-party company, International Checkout, to fulfill orders for our international customers. Simply put the items you wish to purchase in our Shopping Cart and choose the "International Checkout" option. You will complete your order on the secure International Checkout page. You may pay by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. International Checkout will process your order, including billing, shipping and customer service.
